DoS: Echoes of The Requiem

The last two games of an amazing chronicle. I returned as Daina, but not the Daina you would know but as an Echo of the Requiem she could have been. I played a role at the conclusion of Memento Mori assisting at the table during the card game and to collect the winner in the next game. I have to shout out my characters successor The Witch; my character may have died but the work my team put into solving Memento Mori still brought us the win!

With me I brought pain, suffering and a beautiful story towards the conclusion of a two-year chronicle. I'm still reeling from the experience, to be honest! Playing as Daina's Echo was a unique and thrilling experience, and I felt like I brought a whole new level of depth to the character. I was able to give players a physical representation of this puzzle that they had been trying to solve for years. The font of remembrance was a wonderful way for me to give bonuses while also getting to hear people’s favorite stories and memories from the chronicle.

The card game was intense, and I loved how my presence affected the outcome. The story was beautifully woven, and I can't wait to hear more about where the staff take it from here.

I’ve reached the end of an incredible journey, and it's bittersweet to say goodbye, even if it's just until next time. As I reflect on the conclusion of Memento Mori, I’m reminded that the journey itself is just as important as the destination. The experiences, the people, and the lessons learned along the way all contribute to the richness of the story.

The fate of the characters and the world I’ve become invested in can be a powerful motivator, leaving me eager to see what happens next. Will there be a continuation of the story, or will it be a new adventure with familiar themes and elements? It's a testament to the impact of the chronicle on my life and the lives of others who've followed the story.
